Deployment SystemsThe Phuel Deployment System allows operators to deploy a tool string longer than the available pick-up height into a well bore while maintaining full control of the well pressure.The systemmakes it possible to deploy longer lengths of production logging tools, clean-up tools and wireline conveyed perforating guns than conventional methods would normally allow and is ideal for tractor operations. RisersThe Phuel Riser (or Lubricator) is a pressure-containing cylinder used when performing wireline operations. It allows the wireline tool string to be raised above the wellhead valve, permitting entry and exit from the well bore. For electric line operations the risers normally have the same diameter; for slickline operations, three sizes are normally used with the smallest at the top.

SwivelThe Phuel Downhole Electric Swivel is used in wireline operations to avoid twisting damage to the wire. It is usually positioned just below the cable head to prevent any rotation of the tooling string being translated to the wire during running or pulling operations. The Phuel Swivel is pressure compensated so that the external well pressure does not cause it to lock, ensuring that it performs even under extreme conditions.
Tele LubeThe Phuel Telescopic Lubricator offers all the functionality you would expect from a wireline lubricator but with the added benefit of an adjustable overall length. Now every available inch of riser height can be utilised without detailed operational planning or having to carry many individual lubricators.
Tool TrapThe Tool Trap normally situated above the BOP and below the lubricator stack prevents the accidental loss of wireline tools strings downhole by use of a spring-loaded flapper that blocks the bore. The flapper is designed to allow free operation of — and access to — the wire or cable but stops the passage of the tools coming from above.
Turnaround SheaveThe Phuel 20"Turnaround Sheave (TAS) has been developed to maximise the tool string height available above the wellhead in situations where height is restricted. The Phuel TAS also offers the biggest diameter available on the market today, greatly reducing the stress on the wire and making it suitable for larger cable sizes.
Wet Centre ReelsPhuel has responded to market demand by designing the first all stainless steel full-bore Wet Centre Reels.
